Mr. Nakajima is a neurosurgeon and at the same time he is a
Rakugo-ka which is a Japanese traditional humorous storyteller.
This is a story that one middle aged guy visited his hospital wearing
a totally dark suit. Along with him there were two or three young
strong guys. At a glance he thought this person is Japanese
yakuza (gangster). So he looked at the patient's pinky finger and the
head of the finger was lost.

Mr. Nakajima, however, did not want to discriminate his patients
even though he was a yakuza, so he repeated himself, "calm down,"
"calm down." On the contrary there was a brand new nurse who
recently started to work at his hospital and happened to see the
missing finger.

A proverb says what you fear will appear. If the nurse worked calmly
and did everyday practice, she would have told the patient, "Please come
and lie down. I will check your blood pressure." But she said to the
patient, "Please come and lie down. I will cut your finger."

Mr. Nakajima is a very unique person and so is his son.
When his son and he went to a steak house and ordered a New York Steak.
The waiter asked his son, "How would you like the steak cooked?"
The son thought for a while and said, "Cook with all your might."
