There were many incidents that happened in the year 2005 throughout the world. However, my
family is all healthy and surrounded by many blessings. I am grateful to everyone and
everything. Our family is especially grateful to each one of you for your friendship and for
supporting and helping us throughout the year. Thank you very much. May every joy of the
holiday season be yours, and may the New Year bring you happiness, prosperity, peace, and love.

Mario

My family has lived in San Jose almost five years. Our eldest daughter, Mika, is now 10
years old, our second daughter, Eri, is 8 years old and our youngest daughter, Saki, is 3 years
old. They like to run and jump around house.
Last year my family lived on the third floor of the apartment; therefore, they had to
refrain from running and jumping. However, now they don't have to do that any more because
we moved into a new home.
Mika is a very positive and active person. She ran for the chair person of the school
board and was elected. She is a leader and very active in her school. Eri loves exercise and
enjoys gymnastic. Saki recently increased her vocabulary. Her main language is Japanese, but
she goes to preschool and is learning some English words. It is funny to listen to her
conversation.
Each child studies and absorbs many things quickly and enjoys life fully. May the year
2006 bring you all happiness and prosperity.
